Privacy policy
1. Preamble
This privacy policy describes how AUA Hydrate by Swissness Group SA, operating the AUA Hydrate brand (“Swissness Group”, “we”), collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users of the site aua-hydrate.ch and of its customers.
We process your data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020, in force since 1 September 2023, and — for visitors residing in the European Union — with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

- Identification data: surname, first name, title.
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, postal address.
- Order data: purchase history, products viewed, basket.
- Payment data: processed by our approved providers (Shopify Payments, TWINT, etc.). We never store your full card number or your security code.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, operating system, pages visited.
- Cookies and similar identifiers (see section 9).
- Communications: the content of your messages.

- Our authorised staff.
- Our technical processors: Shopify (hosting), Stripe / TWINT (payment), Swiss Post (delivery), Google Analytics / Meta Pixel (with consent), email providers.
- AUA Hydrate by Swissness Group LLC (Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, UAE), affiliated entity for international distribution, where applicable.
- Administrative or judicial authorities upon lawful request.
6. Transfers abroad
Some processors (Shopify, Google) are established outside Switzerland. These transfers are governed by adequacy decisions (EU, UK), standard contractual clauses approved by the FDPIC, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the United States.
7. Retention periods
- Customer account data: for the life of the account + 3 years after the last order.
- Order and invoicing data: 10 years (Swiss tax obligation).
- Prospect / newsletter data: until unsubscription or 3 years of inactivity.
- Security logs: 12 months maximum.
8. Your rights
In accordance with the FADP and the GDPR:
- Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction.
- Right to object to direct marketing.
- Right to data portability.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time.

9. Cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies (session, basket) — no consent required.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — subject to your consent.
- Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) — subject to your consent.
Manage your preferences through the consent banner. Maximum lifetime: 13 months.
10. Security
HTTPS encryption, restricted access, certified providers. In the event of a data breach, we will inform you and the FDPIC without delay.
11. Minors
The Site is not intended for minors under 16.
12. Amendments
Swissness Group reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
